Learning to Drive

Learning to drive can be a pretty daunting task, but it's something that most of us will have to go through at some point in our lives! If you take your lessons with a properly trained and well respected instructor then you should have no trouble. However, a lot of people have difficulty getting over their nerves. It's best to keep calm on the roads, take your time, be aware of hazards and keep control of your vehicle!

Learning to ride a motorcycle is quite different from learning to drive a car. You have to take both a written and a practical test for both, but there are several differences in the motorcycle test. Firstly you'll have to take a motorcycle proficiency test to show you're able to control the vehicle. Then once you've passed your test you'll be limited to using vehicles of a certain power. Younger riders will need to have 33bhp restrictor kits installed on more powerful machines in order to make them road legal. People who are riding a bike without a 33bhp restrictor kit and do not have the appropriate license for it can find themselves in trouble with the law. Most motorcycle specialists will have a range of 33bhp restrictor kits available and they'll be able to install them for you too.

Ensure that you're ready to pass your test before you submit yourself for one as repeatedly failing can be expensive business.
